Drunken Monkey History

“Furious Fist of the Drunken Monkey” was first published by Imperium Comics and debuted in 2004. The premier issue featured the story of how Chip came to possess his alien power ring and his first encounter with his arch nemesis The Gene Gnome. In the second issue, Chip took on the threat known as The Exhibitionist. Both Imperium issues were printed in black and white and featured one page comic strips in addition to the main stories.

 In 2006, Silent Devil Productions published a three issue color mini-series entitled “Origin of the Species”. This mini introduced readers to Chip’s girlfriend, Bunny Bumpers, and the character of Dr. Neanderthal.

 A 2007 convention special spotlighted a black and white short story where Chip battles the orca criminal known as Micky Fin. In continuity, that story took place in the middle of issue 1 of “Origin of the Species”.

In 2010, Chip, Al, and Bunny continue their adventures through this online comic, with print collections to come in the future.
